Bob Oehler, a Swiss national, was born in 1935. Bob has four decades' experience in all aspects of new business ventures, everything from marketing to operations to finance. He offers an extraordinarily diverse variety of international business contacts to P&C and its clients.

Bob started his career in the bookselling and publishing business in Switzerland. In 1969 he moved to Berlin, where he worked in the AXEL SPRINGER GROUP, becoming divisional head in 1971. In 1977, he returned to Switzerland, where he became Director of the BENZIGER VERLAG. In 1985 Bob left publishing and started as VP of a small group in the leisure sector, EPI-CURE, building up a business for them in the USA. In 1986 Bob became Director of a Swiss holding company, WB HOLDING, managing its Hospitality businesses. Bob has been involved with new ventures in Switzerland and Spain, and has been active in arranging finance for them. In 1992, he started his own consultancy company, advising on both start-ups and project management. Current projects include new ventures in South Africa and Indonesia.

Bob is Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Switzerland-South Africa.
